East London Scouts is the body responsible for Scouting in the London boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets, run by two sets of volunteers:
The District Team made up of leaders who support our groups to deliver amazing activities and skills for life every week.
The Trustees who form our Executive Committee overseeing the administration and enabling the District Team to do their jobs.

Complaints will not be accepted unless you have already spoken to those involved and have attempted to reach an informal resolution.
Complaints about Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Scouts should be directed to your Group Scout Leader.
Complaints about a specific Explorer Section, Young Leaders or DofE should be made to the Explorer Scout Commissioner
Appeals about the Group Scout Leader, Explorer Scout Commissioner, or any other District Volunteer should be made to the District Commissioner
In line with The Scouts policy, complainants have a single right of appeal:
Against an complaint to a GSL or Explorer Commissioner's decision - contact the District Commissioner
Against the District Commissioner's decision - contact the County Commissioner via www.glne-scouts.org.uk
You cannot make a further appeal about a rejected appeal.
