East London is home to three amazing facilities owned by East London Scouts and the Roland Philipps Trust, each maintained by a dedicated committee of volunteers to benefit the young people of Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

These facilities are also open for use by community groups, and Fairmead Campsite is particularly popular with school groups and Duke of Edinburgh Award groups in Epping Forest.

Roland Philipps Scout Centre

Located near Stepney Green, the Roland Philipps Scout Centre has two large halls with kitchen facilities.

Current users include The Scouts, Girlguiding, Salvation Army, and a day nursery.

Known locally as the Charles Watts Memorial Hall, the Bouverie Road Scout Hall in Stoke Newington has a large main hall, a large recently refurbished kitchen, and several smaller rooms.

Located in Epping Forest, Fairmead Campsite boasts two large camping fields, two cabin buildings and a modern toilet / shower block.
